Week 3 commentary

OUTRAGEOUS, what happened this weekend!!...............................  Foxboro experienced stifling summer like temperatures and ran out of bottled water at PATS game. Thus, they sold cups of tap water for $5 to the fans!!!!

ERRRR, I guess there was also something about protests this weekend.......Not going to touch that one, but NFL games were highly entertaining and ratings did just fine!  But I do know the RAIDERS protested by not showing up for their game against Redskins.  A couple of garbage time plays at the end of game pushed them over 100 yards for the game. Guess Phil's Ravens also protested with FLACCO passing for 28 yards and helping lead his team to a 44-0 deficit! 

Just when you think you have this figured out, parity rears its ugly head, and now we only have 2 undefeated teams.  Actually I thought only one undefeated team, but LIONS TD was overturned at end of game with 8 seconds left.  Then the rule was they had to run 10 seconds off the clock. No chance to run another play!  Why does the team get penalized for REFS error?  Previous practice squad kicker's 61 yard FG might have doomed the GIANTS, while the winless BUNGALS somehow allowed Rodgers to rally the injury depleted PACKERS.  And bottom feeder DA BEARS had big win over Steelers.  LOTS AND LOTS of upsets. 

JIm and Mike D have LOTS AND LOTS of teams and  were the leaders this week with 5 W's.
